Our Goals

To educate and inform the community about the history of Quonochontaug through:

    ◆ Creative programming, presented mainly in the summer months.  

    ◆ The use of this website and social media, i.e. Facebook.

To collect, preserve and display artifacts, documents and photographs related to Quonochontaug, Rhode Island and its surroundings.

To provide access to our collection by amateur and professional historical researchers as well as to residents of the Quonochontaug community.

To preserve, catalogue and utilize the historical artifacts, documents, photographs and oral histories in our possession.
